¿Que supoñen os estudos de Belas Artes na formación do artista?

Para calquera disciplina artística é fundamental coñecer as técnicas para poder expresarse de maneira máis rápida e sinxela. Por outra banda o coñecemento global que proporciona a nivel histórico e práctico axuda a comprender mellor cales son os límites dese océano. Prepara para unha longa e interminable travesía. De todos xeitos o autodidacta pode chegar a parecidas conclusións cun período de tempo máis dilatado.


¿Que lle ofrece e que lle dá A Coruña como pintor?

Os que vivimos á beira do Mediterráneo temos unha visión particular da luz e o mar dos pobos. Cando veño a Galicia, impresióname esa inmensidade batendo nas súas costas. Esa luz tan distinta. As cores e o ar son unha experiencia que invita a imaxinar un mundo moito maior. A viaxe predispón a continuar a aventura, máis aló de Fisterra.


¿Como define, dentro da figuración, a súa pintura?

É difícil contestar. Creo que teño dúas vertentes: a analítica e colorista e outra máis visceral. A épica e a poética. Podería defirnirme coma un pintor expresionista dentro da nova figuración que intenta, a contracorrente, facer unha obra honesta, é dicir a que parte da propia visión do mundo.


¿Que temas son os que máis lle interesan?

Principalmente o ser humano coas súas filias e súas fobias. Cada individuo como ser irrepetible. Por iso me interesa o retrato, pero non pola aparencia externa do personaxe, senón polo que encerra o rostro coma paisaxe. Tamén me interesa o tema do pintor no seu estudo, a soidade aceptada e necesaria do artista e do seu mundo. A fraxilidade coa que un se enfronta á obra, o concepto de estilo e a súa constante ruptura.


¿Ten predilección polo retrato?

Quizais é onde me atopo máis cómodo e ó mesmo tempo onde podo chegar a sufrir máis. Unha cousa é o chamado "parecido razoable" e outra é chegar a expresar nunha soa imaxe a esencia do ser do individuo que tes diante.


¿Arte dixital e fotografía?

Interésanme e levo anos traballando tamén nestas disciplinas, aínda que soamente realicei unha exposición das miñas obras dixitales. Sigo a traballar niso, pero de momento considéroo unha arte moi fría.

En référence à Kazimir Malévitch, le carré, forme parfaite par excellence constitue l'élément d'inspiration des neuf artistes présentés ici. Introuvable dans la nature, il symbolise la perfection de la création.

Le carré dans l'art

La Galerie Blumann inaugure son espace Place des Vosges. Cette première exposition, «Le carré dans l'art», réunit neuf artistes choisis par nos soins pour la qualité de leurs créations. Le carré est le format de l'oeuvre, en référence à la forme (quasi carrée) de la place mais aussi à la symbolique artistique de cette forme géométrique. 

En effet, tout le monde connaît la fameuse toile intituléeCarré blanc sur fond blanc de Kazimir Malevitch. Le carré forme parfaite par excellence est introuvable dans la nature et symbolise alors la perfection de la création. Il constitue aussi un élément d'inspiration pour les artistes. Notre sélection est éclectique dans les média et modes d'expressions des artistes pluridisciplinaires (peinture, photographie, sculpture, collage…)

 

Joan Laborda
Joan Laborda réinvente les grands maîtres de la peinture et nous transporte ainsi de manière artistique dans des univers bercés d'histoire. Ce peintre espagnol, résidant à proximité de la bouillonnante capitale catalane, Barcelone, crée des oeuvres inspirées des univers de peintres emblématiques tels que Velasquez ou Goya. 

Tout en restant fidèle à la scène décrite par les Maîtres, Joan Laborda impose à chacune de ses créations une marque contemporaine les rendant ainsi uniques et propres au style de cet artiste contemporain. Ces magnifiques oeuvres naissent de véritables recherches et d'une grande maîtrise artistique. En outre, l'ancrage de ces scènes dans notre monde actuel est assuré par la griffe artistique de Joan Laborda et par les techniques utilisées (techniques mixtes issues de l'acrylique, l'huile, collages, poudre de marbre…).

Vincent Malléa
Clic, colorisation, découpes, collages, in-crustations, out-crustations, surcouches, fusions vernis sont les principales étapes de la réalisation d'une oeuvre par Vincent Malléa. A partir d'une photographie, Vincent Malléa réalise une composition plastique. Sa technique, dont il maîtrise toutes les étapes lui confère une identité propre.

Une oeuvre de Vincent Malléa se reconnaît au premier regard. Telles des affiches 4 x 3, chaque oeuvre est composée de plusieurs feuilles collées les unes aux autres afin de reconstituer la prise de vue. Cet assemblage n'est pas parfait, des déchirures et décalages sont visibles, tout comme d'autres accidents comme la patine prise par les oeuvres au cours du temps grâce vernis à vieillir.

La série des états intermédiaires est la première série où Vincent Malléa travaille en grandeur nature. Chaque modèle a ainsi directement posé dans le châssis final. Nous retrouvons aussi certaines constantes de Vincent Malléa à savoir deux de ses modèles récurrentes, ainsi qu'un certain nombre de signes. Quatre châssis composent cette série qui sont en premier lieu associés aux états intermédiaires de la matière, puis à la matière même, mais comme dans toutes les oeuvres de Vincent Malléa, les niveaux de lecture sont multiples et les symboles déchiffrables en plusieurs sens…
